|Hedges, organized beds, driveway, paths and terraces are all integrated in this historic property in the heart of Cleveland Park. Front stone walls were matched for historic accuracy to the old granite foundations of the house. Old granite was stockpiled while other parts of the garden were being developed. A long tumbled concrete paver driveway leads back to the garage where a change of materials is indicated as one walks through a hedge to the pale blue pool. More hedges are carefully pruned to create green screens and perennials, hydrangeas and roses spill onto the stone pool terrace.
