|Inspired by the client's love for jewel tones, the south of France, and English plantings--- warm colored stone, plant texture, and strong classical forms have transformed this postage stamp size garden into a proper Georgetown garden. Fountains spill into the pool helping to drown out street noises. All rooms of the house open onto the garden, providing both color and light to the interior rooms. The garden's linear space is a painterly combination of tapestry hedges turning orange brick into lustrous green and yellow, and long shrub and herbacious borders with a wide range of shade loving plants. An iron arch layered with vines connects both water features adding a shady spot to rest.
